General Requirements: Protein Purification Act: AKTA PRIME PLUS AKTA Prime Plus is a chromatography instrument for routine protein purification in research laboratories. The flexible and intuitive chromatography system accelerates the protein purification process from microgram to gram target product concentrations.
Sample Requirements for Genomics Laboratories:
1. Enzyme/protein samples have undergone a specific size selection process using dialysis membranes.
2. Enzyme/protein samples and buffers have been pre-filtered using 0.22 μL membrane filters.
3. Columns, buffers, and sample tubing are provided by the user operating the AKTA system.
4. Contact the AKTA equipment coordinator before submitting a request via ELSA.
5. Users operating the AKTA Prime Plus must have experience in protein purification. If inexperienced, they must be accompanied by a colleague familiar with enzyme purification equipment.
6. The same type of enzyme can be run in one day with the same ELSA ID (the price will be adjusted according to the number of samples). The service price is IDR 350,000/sample (maximum 6 hours); if the samples are different, a new ELSA ID must be submitted.
Notes:
1. The new service is open to BRIN internal staff who are qualified to operate the equipment.
2. The equipment may only be operated by civil servants, and students must be accompanied by a civil servant during use.
3. Please provide sample information in the sample description section. 4. For sample analysis exceeding 5 mL, confirmation must be obtained from the administrator and noted in the service description section during submission.

• Columns and buffers are provided by the user who will operate the AKTA system
• Contact the Genomics Lab Service Number before submitting a request via ELSA, mobile number (+62 811-9811-575)
Users who will use AKTA Pure must have experience in protein purification. If they lack experience, they must be accompanied by a colleague (BRIN civil servant/postdoctoral researcher) who is familiar with using enzyme purification equipment
• The same type of enzyme can be run in one day with the same ELSA ID (pricing will be adjusted based on the number of samples), but if the sample type is different, a new ELSA ID must be submitted.
Note: To facilitate verification of registered test samples, customers must complete the TEST DETAIL FORM, which can be downloaded from the “Service Documents” section --> “Service SOP Documents” section, and then the completed form (in .pdf format) must be uploaded along with the sample photo in the “Other Supporting Files” and “Photo Data Files” sections. Ensure that the name and number of samples registered in the ELSA System match the number of samples listed on the form.
Incomplete supporting documents may result in the sample registration being canceled by the Verifier.

Samples that have been tested can be collected up to 2 weeks after the test results sheet is issued. If this time limit is exceeded, the samples will be destroyed by the laboratory.
