High-Precision Stable Isotope Ratio Analysis Services (¹³C, ¹⁸O, ²H) for Environmental and Biomolecular Research
Enhance the quality of your research with stable isotope ratio analysis using EA-IRMS (Elemental Analyzer–Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry) and GasBench IRMS technology. These technologies enable accurate and efficient isotope ratio analysis of various sample types, including organic solids and water.
  • EA-IRMS is used to measure carbon isotope ratios (δ⊃1;⊃3;C) in organic samples and is ideal for studies of plant nutrition, biomolecules, and isotope tracing in living organisms.
  • GasBench II IRMS is used to analyze stable oxygen (δ⊃1;⁸O) and deuterium (δ⊃2;H) isotopes in water samples through the water-equilibration method. This is highly relevant to hydrology, climate-change, and geoecology studies.
Important Information
  • The maximum number of samples for ⊃1;⊃3;C analysis is 3 samples.
  • The maximum number of samples for ⊃1;⁸O and ⊃2;H analysis is 6 samples.
  • Requests exceeding the limits above must be submitted separately.

  • ⊃1;⊃3;C isotope analysis using EA-IRMS — IDR 2,000,000 / sample / parameter
  • ⊃1;⁸O isotope analysis (water) using GasBench-IRMS — IDR 2,250,000 / sample / parameter
  • ⊃2;H isotope analysis (water) using GasBench-IRMS — IDR 2,250,000 / sample / parameter
*External customers are subject to 11% VAT.
Sample Requirements
Solid samples: minimum 5 g; particle size below 100 mesh.
Water samples: minimum 10 mL.
