Description of FTIR
The FTIR unit in the Yogyakarta Radiation Laboratory is the ALPHA II model FTIR from Bruker which is equipped with a Transmission module and an ATR module. FTIR is an analytical method based on the principle of interaction of a chemical compound with electromagnetic radiation that will produce a vibration (vibration) from a polyatomic chemical bond or functional group of a chemical compound.
Sample requirements:
Minimum sample weight 1 g (solids sample)
Minimum sample volume of 3 mL (liquid sample)
Plastic / rubber / film samples (min dimensions 5 x 3 cm )
Customers are required to fill out the FTIR test form (F-BRIN-LRY-27-04) which can be downloaded at the link below, then upload the file in the other supporting file fields.
