This Thermoluminescence Dosimeter (TLD) analysis service is BRIN's internal service regarding the requirements for operating permits for nuclear installations/radiation facilities in the Serpong Nuclear Area to determine the dose of external radiation received by radiation workers.
Nuclear installations/radiation facilities in the Serpong Nuclear Area where radiation workers use TLD submit a letter of application along with a list of names of radiation workers whose TLD will be analyzed through ELSA. Furthermore, the TLD to be analyzed is submitted directly to the laboratory. TLD is checked for its physical condition to make sure it can be analyzed or not. Furthermore, TLD is analyzed to determine the dose of external radiation received by radiation workers.
