This Whole Body Counter (WBC) analysis service is BRIN's internal service regarding the requirements for operating permits for nuclear installations/radiation facilities in the Serpong Nuclear Area to determine the internal radiation dose received by radiation workers in vivo.
Nuclear installations/radiation facilities in the Serpong Nuclear Area whose radiation workers require WBC analysis shall submit a letter of application along with a list of names of radiation workers to be analyzed through ELSA. Furthermore, radiation workers come directly to the laboratory according to a predetermined schedule. Radiation workers were analyzed to determine radionuclide activity and internal radiation dose in vivo.
Application Requirements:
