The calorimetry bomb is a fundamental test that is very important for anyone interested in heat measurement. Applications for the use of calorimetry bombs include: coal and coke, fuel, combustible waste, food ingredients and supplements for human nutrition, green plants and supplements for animal nutrition, building materials.
Principle of the calorimetry bomb:
The combustion heat, which is determined in the oxygen of the calorimeter bomb, is measured by a substitution procedure in which the heat obtained from the sample is compared with the heat obtained from a standard material (benzoic acid). In this test, samples are burned in high-pressure oxygen in a pressure metal vessel or "bomb". The energy released by combustion is absorbed in the calorimeter and the resulting change in temperature is recorded.
It is recommended for samples containing sulfur to include sulfur content because it will affect the measured heating value of the instrument.

Additional information:
- Samples that have been tested will be stored in the laboratory for a maximum of 3 months.
- Samples not taken within this time will be destroyed
