UV-Vis Shimadzu 1800 spectrophotometry is used to measure the absorbance of a liquid sample using wavelengths in the UV region (200-350nm) and visible light (350-900 nm). The results obtained are in the form of absorbance, transmittance, or wavelength scan values. This spectrophotometry is a double-beam spectrophotometry. The value of the blank can be directly measured simultaneously with the desired solution in one of the same process. The minimum sample volume is 10 mL.
