Research Group Activity Description/Function:
Discovery of active compounds from plants or endophytic microbes for health applications.
Research Topic:
Exploration of bioactive metabolites from endophytic fungi and other sources as potential candidates for anti-tuberculosis, antimalarial, anticancer, antidiabetic, and antioxidant agents.
Scope of Research Topic:
Identification of endophytic fungi, scale-up cultivation of endophytic fungi, extraction of fungal cultures, isolation of active compounds, purification of active compounds, and structural elucidation of bioactive compounds.
Major:
Undergraduate Programs in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, and Pharmacy.
