CNC Milling Machine is used to cut, shape, and process materials (usually metal) precisely using a rotating cutting tool (cutter) controlled by a computer.
Vertical Machining Center-Hwacheon. Making cylindrical objects/components using programming
Serial Number: M294177K5BC
Type/Brand: Vertical Machining Center - Hwacheon
CNC MILLING MACHINE TECHNIQUE
Metals: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Titanium and Metal Alloys.
Non-Metals: Plastics and Composites
Material Size (Workpiece Dimensions)
Work Area/Table Size:
Small/Desktop CNC Milling Machines: Work areas range from 200 x 200 x 200 mm to 300 x 300 x 300 mm.
Large Industrial Machines: Can have larger work areas, such as 1500 x 3000 mm or more, making them suitable for large components.
Material Thickness:
Generally ranging from 0.5 mm for thin sheet materials to several tens of millimeters (e.g. 20-50 mm) for heavier materials, depending on the strength and cutting power of the machine.

CNC MILLING MACHINE TECHNIQUE
- Face Milling: Cutting the flat surface of the workpiece with a cutter that rotates perpendicularly, producing a flat and smooth surface.
- Peripheral Milling (End Milling): Scraping material from the side of the workpiece with a horizontally moving end mill cutter, ideal for producing a specific profile or contour.
- Contour Milling: Used to cut complex shapes or contours on the surface of the workpiece, usually using a ball-nose cutter to follow the curves of the design.
- Pocketing: Carving holes or cavities (pockets) in the workpiece, done with movements that are precisely designed by the CNC program.
- Drilling and Tapping: CNC machines can also perform drilling and tapping operations automatically for holes that require threads.
- Adaptive Feed Milling: Advanced technique that automatically adjusts feed rate and spindle speed to optimize cutting, reduce vibration, and extend tool life.
Metals: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Titanium and Metal Alloys.
Non-Metals: Plastics and Composites
