CENTRIFUGAL PARTITION CHROMATOGRAPHY/Preparative Liquid Chromatography (CPC/PLC) is a chromatography designed for the separation and purification of chemical compounds in preparative scale. This method combines the principles of centrifugation and liquid chromatography to increase the efficiency and resolution of the separation of complex compounds, making it ideal for applications in a variety of industries including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, and research.

Service Advantages:
  1. High Efficiency:
    • Utilizes centrifugal force to accelerate the separation process, enabling compound purification in a shorter time compared to traditional methods.
  2. Excellent Separation Resolution:
    • Capable of separating compounds with high resolution, including compounds with similar structures or almost the same physicochemical properties.
  3. Scalability
    • Can be used for laboratory scale to industrial scale, making it suitable for various stages of research and production.
  4. Flexibility
    • Supports a variety of solvents and mobile phases, allowing customization according to specific project needs.
  5. Low Solvent Consumption
    • A more efficient process in solvent usage, reducing operational costs and environmental impact.
Applications:
  1. Pharmaceutical Purification: Remove impurities and isolate high-purity active ingredients.
  2. Natural Compound Isolation: Extract and purify bioactive compounds from natural materials such as plants and microorganisms.
  3. Chemical Processing: Separation and purification of complex chemicals for research or production.
  4. Product Analysis and Development: Support R&D activities by providing pure samples for further testing and development.
Sample:
  1. Sample can be extract or homogeneous solid/paste fraction.
  2. Sample can be extract or homogeneous liquid fraction.
Terms of Service
  1. The applicant/user has the ability to operate the Gilson System CPC/PLC tool that will be used.
  2. The applicant/user is not allowed to operate the tool themselves and must be accompanied by a tool operator/supervisor.
  3. The tool is only operated during working days and hours.
  4. One contract (1 ELSA application) is for 1 type of tool, 1 sample with a maximum of 7 working hours (08.00-15.00) on the same day.
  5. The tool usage time is calculated from conditioning until the tool is turned off, max. 15.00 WIB.
  6. If running 1 sample is needed for more than 1 working day, the Applicant must submit another ELSA application for the next day.
  7. If running 1 sample is needed for more than 1 working day, the tool must be turned off first for that day and reused the next day.
  8. The Applicant is required to clean the tool (flushing the column/stationary phase, washing the tube, etc.) before and after use and return it to its original place in a clean and tidy condition.
Sample requirements
  1. Samples in solid/paste or liquid form.
  2. Samples are completely dissolved (homogeneous) in the solvent to be used.
  3. Injected samples must go through a filtration process.
Solvent requirements
  1. The solvent used is an organic solvent/buffer?
  2. The applicant/user provides the solvent independently.
  3. The applicant/user provides the syringe and syringe filter (0.22 µm) independently.

To facilitate verification of registered test samples, customers must complete the form that can be downloaded in the "Service Files" --> "Service SOP Files" section and then the completed Form is uploaded together with sample photos in the "Other Supporting Files" and "Photo Data File" sections. Make sure that the name and number of samples registered in the ELSA System are the same as the number of samples written on the Form. Incomplete supporting documents can cause the test sample registration to be canceled by the Verifier.

Note:
Analysis Fee: 100,000 / hour
