The calorific value test using a bomb calorimeter Leco AC500.The material being tested can be a solid (such as coal, charcoal, compost, biomass, RDF, etc.) or a liquid (such as liquid hydrocarbon fuels, biodiesel, biooil, etc.) by measuring the heat released after the sample is burned. The required sample quantity is a minimum of 5 grams (powder) for solid materials, and a minimum of 5 ml (homogeneous) for liquid materials.
Testing is performed once a week or with a minimum of 5 samples per test.
