Detection services against IMNV infection of nauplii, post larva, fry or big shrimp can be in living or preservation conditions. Samples were preserved using 95% ethanol or RNA later and using microtube containers with a volume of 1.5 – 2.0 mL. The minimum number of samples to be analyzed is: 30-40 for Nauplii and post larvae, 5-10 fry or big shrimp. If shrimp samples are sent in live condition, then packing must be in good condition, oxygen is still available in plastic bags (not deflated). If the sample is in preserve condition, for nauplii and post larvae using whole body, while for fry and big shrimp, the samples taken are swimming legs (Pleopod), enough to fill half of the microtube.
