Detection services against iridovirus infection of eggs, larvae, fry or big fish can be in living or preservation conditions. Samples were preserved using 95% ethanol and using microtube containers with a volume of 1.5 – 2.0 mL. The minimum number of samples to be analyzed is: 100 eggs, 30-40 fish larvae, 5-10 fry or one large fish. If fish samples are sent in live condition, then packing must be in good condition, oxygen is still available in plastic bags (not deflated). If the sample is in preserve condition, for eggs and larvae using whole body, while for fry and big fish, the samples taken are kidneys and spleen, enough to fill half of the microtube
