Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) is a thermal analysis technique used to measure the amount of heat energy absorbed or released by a sample as it is heated, cooled, or held at a constant temperature relative to a reference material.
DSC Sample Requirements:
Samples in solid, powder, liquid, or gel form.
Solid samples: dimensions of 5 mm x 2,5 mm (minimum weight 1 g), powder samples: 5-15 mg.
Sheet samples can be cut and chopped (minimum weight 1 g).
Polymer/film samples: minimum 1-3 pellets (minimum weight 1 g).
Samples must not contain sticky materials and must not exceed their degradation temperature.
Provide the required information:
Method: heat-cool-heat, ramping, OIT, etc.
Heating rate (e.g.,10°C per minute), initial temperature, final temperature, etc.
Gas used (air /N2 / 02 (OIT)).
Maximum temperature setting must not exceed the sample's degradation temperature.
Customization of N2 rate increase per 5 mL/min incurs an additional charge of IDR 25,000.
Customization of heating rate per 1°C per minute incurs an additional charge of IDR 50,000.
Default gas rate: 20-50 mL/min
Default heating rate: 5-20 °C/min
Equipment Capacity:
