Objective: The objective of the Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) test is to verify the behavioral conformance of the test specimen to the parameters stipulated in the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) when subjected to measured electrostatic discharge.

Technical Details:

  • Test Specimen: Contact/contactless smart card

  • Test Parameter: SNI ISO/IEC 7816 series, SNI ISO/IEC 14443 series

  • Test Method: SNI ISO/IEC 10373-6:2013 Clause 6.2.2

  • Test Equipment: ESD Simulator, Contact/Contactless Test Station

  • Related Regulation: Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia Number 07/PER/M.KOMINFO/03/2012 concerning Technical Requirements for Contactless Smart Cards.
