Requirements:
- Accepted samples are primarily organic samples without chemical solvents with a neutral pH (6-8)
- Samples in solid, powder, gel or liquid form that have been frozen (-80⁰C) for at least 1 day beforehand.
- It is recommended to use plastic containers (thinwall, plastic cylinder containers), because glass is prone to breaking if cooled at -80 C.
- Liquid samples are recommended to use plastic cylinder containers/thinwall cylinders.
- The maximum sample amount is 3500 ml (adjusting the capacity of the tool, for example Freeze Dryer BK-FD12 Biobase 8 250ml containers + 3 500ml containers)
- Operations last 24 hours and are only served on weekdays.
- Sampling that has been tested can be taken a maximum of 2 weeks after the LHU is issued. If it exceeds the specified time, the sample will be destroyed by the laboratory.
- Prospective users are required to check the availability of service days which can be seen on the calendar tab. Submission dates that clash with the agreed schedule will be rejecte
