- The samples accepted are mainly organic samples without chemical solvents with a neutral pH (6-8).
- Samples in solid, powder, gel or liquid form that have been frozen (-80⁰C) for at least 1 day beforehand.
- It is recommended to use plastic containers (thinwall, plastic cylinder containers), because glass is prone to breaking if cooled at -80 C.
- Liquid samples must use plastic cylinder containers/thinwall cylinders, sample volume 15-16% of the container (for example, a 250 ml container is filled with a maximum of 40 ml of liquid sample).
- The number of samples is adjusted to the capacity of the tool, for example Freeze Dryer BK-FD12 Biobase 8 250ml containers + 3 500ml containers.
- Operation lasts 24 hours and is only served on weekdays.
- Sampling that has been tested can be taken a maximum of 2 weeks after the LHU is issued. If it exceeds the specified time, the sample will be destroyed by the laboratory.
- Prospective users are required to check the availability of service days which can be seen on calender tab. Application dates that clash with the agreed schedule will be rejected.
