Description: The biomechatronics research group focuses on two main objectives, namely human rehabilitation through recovery of mobility functions for individuals with disabilities, and the development of augmentation technology to enhance human performance beyond their natural conditions.
Topics: 1. Gait analysis for sports science and rehabilitation of stroke patients. 2. Creation of pressure distribution sensors on the soles of the feet to study gait and utilized for monitoring, testing, and rehabilitation. 3. Development of smart vests to support workplace safety.
Scope: 1. Conducting literature studies related to research topics. 2. Developing ideas to complete case studies during the prototyping process. 3. Conducting experimental testing. 4. Processing test data. 5. Compiling test reports.
