Particle size below 0.150 mm or pass through a 100-mesh filter.
Samples can be powder, bulk, or thin film. Results: 1) Diffractogram, 2) Peak List, 3) Raw Data of test results (*.brml, *.raw, *.txt)
Sample requirements for the KST Samaun Samadikun Laboratory:
1. Minimum sample weight: 1 gram.
2. Maximum sample weight: >1 gram.
Material: Rock, metal/metal alloy, polymer
Form: Powder, bulk, thin film.
Powder
1. Sample size must pass through a minimum of 100 mesh.
2. Minimum weight: 1 gram.
3. Sample must be dry, not wet or damp.
Bulk
1. The sample surface must be flat.
2. Sample diameter 1-4 cm.
Thin film: Minimum size 1x1 cm.
