The sample requirements that must be met by the Customer/User before submitting or sending samples, include:
a. The sample consists of leaves, flowers and/or fruit.
b. Samples brought must have been dried. Fresh samples are only allowed for general plants/cultivation or according to the approval of the identification officer.
At the time of sample submission, the Customer/User must download and fill out the plant identification service form (attached) and include it in the sample to be submitted.
For Customers/Users who send samples via courier service, please provide information on their HP number and or email address that can be contacted by the service officer.
The maximum identification time is 30 days from the time the sample is received. If the sample sent is still young or damaged, the specimen cannot be identified. Samples that have been identified will be destroyed unless there is a request from the Applicant to be retrieved.
