SEM-EDX analysis with PhenomProX Desktop SEM which serves samples in the form of powder, solid, or polished mount (only for minerals, mining materials, and metals). Optimum magnification is 350-5000 times. The scope of services includes:
1. Sample coating with Au-Pt or graphite
2. SED (Secondary Electron) photo - 2048 px resolution, energy at 5-15 kV
3. BSE (Backscattered Electron) photo - 2048 px resolution, energy at 5-15 kV
4. EDX point - multi element analysis at point(s), max energy 15 kV
5. EDX mapping - distribution of elements in an area with pixel resolution on demand, maximum energy 15 kV
Result: 1 Image Photo and 3 EDS
IMPORTANT NOTE:
1. Sample must be completely dry, non-hygroscopic, non-volatile, non-toxic, non-irritating, non-corrosive, non-radioactive, non-organic, and not a magnetized sample
2. Amount requirements: minimum weight of 1 gram for powder, maximum dimension of 1x1x1 cm for solid, standard diameter of 1 inch (2,5cm) and maximum height of 2 cm for polished mount sample
3. Client must fill out the sample submission form
