Micromeritics® TriStar II Plus is a fully automated surface area and porosity analysis tool, capable of providing high-capacity analysis with high speed and accuracy. This three-station unit increases the speed and efficiency of routine quality control analysis, while maintaining sufficient accuracy, resolution and data reduction capabilities to meet research needs. This instrument combines flexibility in analysis and data reduction methods, enabling analysis tailored to application needs.
Surface areas as low as 0.01 m⊃2;/g can be measured with standard nitrogen systems.
Micromeritics MicroActive software allows users to calculate surface area and porosity interactively. Data ranges selectable by the user via the graphical interface enable direct modeling for BET, t-Plot, Langmuir and DFT interpretation.
For the BET Sample the conditions are:
1. Minimum 1 gram
2. In powder form and dry
3. Minimum size 60 mesh
4. Minimum samples: 3
