Particle Charge Analysis (zeta potential) with a zeta potential measurement range of -200 mV to 200 mV. For zeta potential measurement, the laser beam is divided into two rays as an input beam and a reference beam. The light scattered by the sample particle and the reference beam is modulated by the modulator, obstructed in the prism and then detected. The detected signal is converted into a digital signal to be calculated and translated as zeta potential units.
The method used is the wet method where the sample must be a dispersion or emulsion. Samples in the form of solid substances (fine powder) must be dispersed. The laboratory uses a standard dispersant in the form of aquamilipore. Does not accept samples that are corrosive, contain organic solvents such as acetone and / or which can dissolve polymers. The number of samples needed for solids 1-5 g and a minimum  10 mL of liquid.
