Scientific Visit to the BRIN
Mlati Yogyakarta Coastal and
Coastal Dynamics Laboratory

The visit service is a scientific visit service activity at the BRIN Yogyakarta Coastal and Coastal Dynamics Laboratory to introduce the laboratory more closely to the public. The provision of scientific visit services is carried out in the context of socializing science and technology, introducing laboratory facilities, research results and studies that have been and/or can be carried out by the laboratory. With this scientific service, it is hoped that various forms of collaboration can be established that can significantly increase BRIN's role for the wider community. This Visit Service is open and free/free, intended for science and technology activists, academics, industry, government agencies and the general public. The visit included a presentation of the profile of the Beach and Coastal Dynamics Laboratory by resource persons from the Beach and Coastal Dynamics Laboratory and then continued with a field visit with a total duration of around 2 hours. Meeting facilities are carried out in a meeting room with a capacity of 30 - 50 people. During the laboratory visit, each facility and activity will be explained by the resource person. The places that can be visited (adjusted to your needs) include: 3D Wave Pool Facilities, 2D Glass Wave Channels, 2D Concrete Wave Channels, Tsunami Simulation Channels, Hydro Oceanography Computational Laboratory and Coastal Building Structures, Survey and Inspection Equipment Facilities and Soil Mechanics Laboratory.
