Petrographic Analysis Services
This petrographic analysis service is aimed at identifying and characterizing the mineralogical properties, textures, and structures of rocks and sediments in detail through microscopic observation. The analysis is carried out using a Nikon LV100NPOL Polarizing Microscope, which is specifically designed for petrographic studies with the capability to observe samples under plane-polarized light (PPL) and cross-polarized light (XPL).
The samples analyzed are prepared as thin sections with a standard thickness of approximately ±30 microns.
