Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) Service Description

GC-MS is an analytical method used to analyze volatile compounds in organic solvents by combining gas chromatography (GC) and mass spectrometry (MS) techniques. The GCMS-QP 2010 SE instrument is equipped with an AOC 20i automatic injector that holds up to 6 sample trays, enabling continuous analysis. Samples are introduced into the GC through the injector and carried by the mobile phase using high-purity helium (He) of GCMS grade.

Service Requirements

• Samples must be volatile liquids

• Samples must be dissolved in organic solvents (e.g., Methanol, Ethanol, etc.)

• Samples must be water-free (H₂O) / must not contain water

• Minimum sample volume: 3 mL

• Customers must provide the proposed analytical method for the service

• Customers must include the sample solvent in a separate container (minimum 5 mL)

• Sample solvents must be of proanalysis grade or higher

• Please inform us if there are specific target compounds (m/z); otherwise, sample screening will be performed

• Radioactive samples are not accepted
