Microwave Digester Digestion Services are sample preparation services through a wet digestion process (acid digestion) using a controlled microwave heating system. This method is used to effectively and homogeneously dissolve the sample matrix so that the target elements or compounds are in solution form ready for analysis using advanced instrument techniques.
Microwave Digester Digestion is applied to various sample types, including soil, sediment, biomass, biochar, agricultural materials, non-fatty foods, mineral materials, metals, solid waste, and other environmental samples. The digestion process is carried out using appropriate inorganic acid reagents (e.g., HNO₃, HCl, H₂SO₄, HF, or specific combinations) under controlled temperature and pressure settings to ensure dissolution efficiency and minimize analyte loss.
