Material microstructure testing service using the Thermo Scientific Phenom Desktop SEM to generate high-resolution surface topography and morphology images of samples with magnification up to tens of thousands of times. This service is designed for the rapid and precise characterization of detailed microstructures in various biological and non-biological specimens. This service includes:
- Observation of sample surface morphology and microstructure at the micro- to nano-scale.
- High-resolution imaging for surface topography, texture, and particle shape analysis.
- Observation of biological specimens (such as disease vectors, insects, microorganisms, and tissues) as well as non-biological samples (such as polymers, synthetic materials, fibers, and powders).
- High-resolution digital documentation and imaging for Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
- Measurement of micro dimensions, particle diameters, and material porosity using image analysis software.
- Characterization and qualitative evaluation of sample surface structures for academic, medical, and industrial research needs.
