This is a thermal process for heat treating ferro and non ferro metallic alloys. The process can be conducted in various environment, depend on the type of furnace used. The enviroment selections are vaccuum, non vaccuum, with Ar gas, with N2 gas. The maximum thermal treatment temperature is at 1100 °C (for non vacuum) and 1000 °C (for vacuum) with a heating rate 4 °C/min. The sample weight needs to be either 500 gram (in muffle type) max. or 200 gram max. (in tube type). The sample dimension is either, 15 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm or 25 cm x 3 cm x 3 cm. There will be max. duration limitation for thermal treatment which needs to be conducted for more than 8 hours.
