This is a thermal process for syntesis of metals in a form of powder, solid, granule or as cast. The process can be conducted in various environment, depends on the type of furnace used. The environment selections are vacuum, non vacuum, with Ar gas, with O2 gas. Users need to bring their own gas. The maximum thermal treatment temperature is 1000 °C (for furnaces) with heating rate max at 5 °C/min and 300 °C (for oven). To avoid contamination, users need to bring their own quartz tube with a dimension of 5 cm in diameter and 90 cm in length. The max. duration of each process is 8 hours per day and max. 3 days in a row (depends on the length of the queue list). Unacceptable samples are flammable samples, toxic samples, samples which produce gas which can contaminated the chamber or samples with low melting point.
