Scope of Research Activities:
EHPS (Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering) is a steering system that combines hydraulic power with electronic control. In the context of lane detection tracking for autonomous vehicles, EHPS becomes an essential component in steering actuation once the system detects and tracks the lane. The Lane Detection System-based EHPS feature for autonomous vehicles is applied in special areas (such as airports, industrial zones, ports, or other enclosed environments). The scope includes the following:

- Lane Detection & Tracking:
Detecting environmental conditions, receiving vehicle direction information from the lane detection system, and steering the wheels to stay centered within the lane. Scope: Improved tracking accuracy and EHPS response precision based on environmental conditions. - Autonomous Steering Control:
Electrically and hydraulically controlling the steering based on real-time data from lane tracking. Scope: Adjusting the vehicle's direction during turns or lane changes and maintaining stability when the vehicle is in narrow lanes or turns. - Lane Navigation:
Following the steering commands based on lane detection. Scope: Aligning with the designated route within the special area (e.g., airport). - Special Operation Mode:
Providing an override mode that allows the driver to manually control the steering with hydraulic assistance. Scope: Enabling manual operation of the vehicle in emergency situations. - ADAS System Integration:
Integration of navigation and vehicle direction and position control systems autonomously based on lane mapping. Scope: Enabling low-speed vehicle maneuvers.
