The Computational and Applied Mathematics Research Group conducts research in the field of applied mathematics that includes modeling and simulation with numerical methods for ODEs and PDEs, nonlinear waves, numerical hydrodynamics, climate-related modeling and analysis, computational fluid dynamics for the environment, and coastal-marine engineering.

Research topic 1: Applied mathematical modeling and computation on hydrodynamic models of water waves and climate impacts on disasters (Supervisor: Dr. Arnida L Latifah)
1) Conducting literature studies on related topics,

1) creating problem identification rules that are suitable for the selection of temporal, spatiotemporal, spatial surface water models

3) building game applications based on open source program coding
4) conducting model validation
