Wild rats are known to be an important reservoir of various zoonotic parasites that can threaten human health. This study aims to identify and molecularly analyze the presence of helminths, ectoparasites, and zoonotic protozoa in wild rats in the Malang Raya area. Through a molecular approach, it is expected to obtain accurate genetic and taxonomic data to understand the potential spread and risk of infection to humans. The results of this study will be an important basis for monitoring, preventing, and controlling parasite-based zoonotic diseases from wild animals to humans.
