Description: Conducting biomechatronics research using biosignal instrumentation to measure the physical, physiological, and psychophysiological conditions of humans when interacting with their environment, for the development of system designs that consider human well-being.
Topics:- Analysis of human ergonomics in interaction with autonomous vehicles both inside and outside the vehicle.- Analysis of human ergonomics in oil palm harvesting activities to develop exoskeleton assistive devices for palm harvesters.- Analysis of gait biomechanics for the development of walking assistive devices.
Scope:- Analysis of human ergonomics in interaction with autonomous vehicles both inside and outside the vehicle: conducting experiments and studying human motion when interacting with autonomous vehicles using instruments such as motion capture systems, eye trackers, behavior analysis, questionnaires, etc., and conducting statistical data analysis to provide recommendations for autonomous vehicle design and its supporting infrastructure. - Human ergonomics analysis in palm oil harvesting activities to develop exoskeleton assistive tools for palm oil harvesters: conducting experiments in the laboratory and palm oil plantations related to palm harvesting activities using motion capture systems, EMG, ECG, and questionnaires, performing data analysis, and developing more optimal harvesting assistive tools. - Gait/bipedal motion biomechanics analysis for the development of walking assistive devices: conducting gait analysis in both healthy individuals and patients using force plates, motion capture systems, EMG, ECG, etc., to analyze the walking patterns of healthy individuals and patients with gait limitations, as well as developing walking assistive devices such as prostheses and orthoses, and gait therapy evaluation methods.
