Internship at BRIN Publishing

The internship opportunity at BRIN Publisher involves working with scientific publication systems based on Open Journal Systems (OJS) and Open Monograph Press (OMP), while gaining valuable experience in the experimental development team of these applications for wider benefits. The internship is conducted remotely, and interns are not required to attend the office or work for a specific duration each day, as the work is project-based and guided by a supervisor.
Internship requirements include:

1. Minimum 5th-semester students majoring in Informatics/Information Systems/Information Management
2. Good knowledge of IT, PHP Programming, PHP Basis Framework, MySQL Database, and XML
3. Mastering related tools

The intern will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of the publication process, such as article submission, peer-review, and indexing, as well as learn about the technical infrastructure and editorial management workflow. This internship will provide a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of scientific publishing and contribute to the development of open-source software solutions for academic journals and monographs.
