This internship topic aims to evaluate the effect of variations in sea wave load characteristics from several planned development areas on the stability of the Floating Offshore Wind Turbine (FOWT) structure, which is currently in the design stage (Prototype α). Students will be involved in numerical analysis and/or hydrodynamic simulations using modelling software (such as OrcaFlex or others), as well as conducting literature reviews and comparing oceanographic data from selected areas. The results of this activity are expected to provide technical input on the design of the basic structure and mooring system of the FOWT prototype, particularly in adapting to local wave conditions to ensure stability and optimal performance of the offshore wind energy system.
