There are six research groups:
1. Studies of Tropical Regional Oceanography through In-situ Observation and Modeling (STRONG)
2. Waves, Eddies, Turbulent Mixing and Particle Trajectory Studies (WETRUST)
3. Ocean Health under Multiple Stressors (HOMS)
4. Integrated Marine Biosphere Research (IMBeR)
5. Coastal Processes (CORES)
6. Environmental Marine Plastic, Pollution and Ecosystem Recovery (EMPIRE)
The PKL implementation period is approximately three months.
