Muffle Furnace is a high-temperature heating device used for heating, ashing, calcination, and thermal treatment of samples under controlled conditions. The furnace is suitable for various research applications, including ash content analysis, removal of organic components, calcination of inorganic materials, and sample preparation for further analysis.

Muffle Furnace operation for heating, ashing, calcination, and thermal treatment of samples according to the operating conditions specified by the user.

Service Specifications

  • Sample: Ready-to-process samples prepared by the user
  • Sample container: Must be provided by the user and comply with laboratory requirements

  • Output: Heat-treated or ashed sample according to the specified operating conditions
  • Operation: Performed by the user under laboratory supervision and in accordance with the equipment SOP
Conditions of Use
  1. The user must provide information regarding the sample type and quantity before using the equipment.
  2. The user is responsible for ensuring that the sample is suitable for high-temperature treatment.
  3. Samples must NOT generate toxic, corrosive, or flammable gases, or substances that may potentially damage the equipment.
  4. The user must use a heat-resistant sample container suitable for the operating temperature.
  5. The user must comply with the applicable equipment SOP and laboratory safety procedures.
  6. The sample container must be made of porcelain and equipped with a lid, and must be provided by the user.
  7. The equipment may only be operated within the specified temperature and time limits.

  • Service fee: IDR 400,000 per sample
  • Maximum operating time: 5 hours per day
  • Maximum temperature: 900°C
  • Sample container: Porcelain container with lid, provided by the user
