Analysis of organic compounds using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is based on the separation of a compound into two phases, namely the stationary phase and the mobile phase. The stationary phase that is widely used is a column, while the mobile phase is an organic solvent/water. This analysis uses 2 detectors for analytical mode, namely the Photo Diode Array (PDA) detector for compounds that have chromophore groups (Active UV) and the Electron Light Scaterring Detector (ELSD) detector for non-UV active compounds.
