PDS 2000 Description

PDS2000 for Multibeam Surveying provides functionality for survey planning, data acquisition, data processing, editing, volume calculations, and chart production. This ready-to-use solution offers surveyors and operators powerful tools to efficiently conduct Multibeam surveys. Progress is directly shown in 3D and top-down views using color-coded Digital Terrain Models (DTM). Various filter settings can be applied to Multibeam data in real-time, enabling live data processing. The QC view assures the operator that the data meets the desired quality.

The 3D editing module combines 3D path editing, MB and Laser calibration, DTM modeling and editing, CUBE modeling, WCD data visualization, and SVP editing. Integrating all these features into a SINGLE module saves significant time for data processors. While cleaning path data, your CUBE and DTM models are updated quickly! After data processing, the data can be used for volume calculations and chart creation. The chart model provides fast plot results to the operator, especially when repetitive surveys need to be plotted. The plotting module has proven to be one of the best available in the market! Optionally, data can be exported to a GIS database for more efficient data management.
