he FieldSpec® HandHeld 2 handheld spectroradiometer is the economical, easy to use, visible-near infrared (VNIR) alternative to the full-range FieldSpec 4 product series. The Handheld 2 is a durable and versatile handheld spectroradiometer that uses the FieldSpec 4 VNIR spectrometer for accurate analysis in the 325 – 1075 nm spectral range.
The HandHeld 2 offers the perfect combination of performance, durability, and portability. The HandHeld 2 spectroradiometer uses a high-sensitivity detector array, a built-in shutter, a low stray light grating, DriftLock dark current compensation, and second-order filtering to create a high signal-to-noise spectrum within a second.
Field data acquisition is simplified with embedded remote sensing software. The results are displayed on an integrated, high-visibility color display making sample collection simple, in difficult areas without having to worry about carrying a computer.
When connected to a computer, the total range of RS3 spectral data processing features is available.
Built with an ergonomic dual position “D” handle, the handheld spectroradiometer is equally suited for right hand or left hand operation. Compact, rugged and light-weight, the HandHeld 2 weighs 1.17 kg (under three pounds) with batteries.
With a wavelength range of 325 nm–1075 nm, an accuracy of ±1 nm and a resolution of <3>
