1) Reliability of the reactor cooling system
Research on the reliability of nuclear reactor cooling systems is a research activity related to the management of reactor coolant (both research reactors and power reactors) from a nuclear chemistry point of view, known as nuclear coolant chemistry. Research focuses on coolant purification and its impact on structural materials, systems and reactor components (SSK).

2) Nuclear Cogeneration (Nuclear Cogeneration) Research on nuclear reactor cogeneration covers various aspects related to the utilization of thermal and electrical energy in a nuclear power plant system.
Several studies conducted on nuclear reactor cogeneration include:
• HTGR reactor based Cogeneration System (Peluit-40, RDE). This research studies the use of gas-cooled nuclear reactors to produce electrical and thermal energy. Utilization of reactor heat includes hydrogen production, coal gasification/liquefaction, coal upgrading, desalination, enhanced oil recovery/EOR, etc.
• Hydrogen Cycle Analysis: This research deals with the production of hydrogen through nuclear reactor cogeneration. Hydrogen can be used as an alternative energy source that is environmentally friendly, and this research involves an analysis of the economics, safety, and technical feasibility of a hydrogen production cycle using a nuclear reactor.
• Cogeneration System Performance: This study aims to analyze and improve the performance of cogeneration systems using nuclear reactors. Focuses include improving thermal efficiency, developing closed cycle supercritical coolants, and using high temperature resistant refractory materials.
• Integration with Energy Storage Systems. This research attempts to integrate nuclear reactor cogeneration with energy storage systems such as batteries or flywheels. The goal is to increase operational flexibility, improve energy efficiency, and facilitate energy use during times of peak demand.
