LiDAR drones are drones made to carry LiDAR sensors. LIDAR sensors are used to collect data into detailed 3D models for various types of applications and industries.
 
The use of LiDAR drones is usually carried out in certain sectors. For project inspections, these drones are used in the mining, agriculture, archeology, infrastructure development, forestry, and security and police sectors. For example, using LiDAR to measure the speed of a car on the road.
 
The way LiDAR drone technology works is by firing a laser with high power at the target to be mapped, including measuring the laser pulse. Then, this laser pulse is reflected back to collect information and data on the mapped area.
