Furnace Usage Service
Samples to be processed using the laboratory furnace must meet the following requirements:
- Samples must be thermally stable and suitable for high-temperature treatment.
- Samples must not contain flammable, explosive, or highly volatile substances.
- Samples must not release toxic, corrosive, or hazardous gases during heating.
- Samples must not contain substances that may react violently at the intended operating temperature.
- Samples must be free from materials that may damage, corrode, or contaminate the furnace chamber.
- Samples must be placed in suitable heat-resistant crucibles or containers compatible with the required temperature.
- The required heating temperature must be within the operating range of the furnace and the thermal tolerance of the sample container.
- Samples with unknown composition or potential hazards must be accompanied by composition information and/or a Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
- Hazardous or special samples may only be accepted after a safety review by laboratory personnel.
