Thermal Gravimetry Analysis (TGA) is a method of thermal anaysis used to determine thermal characteristic of a material. Tests can be carried out in a temperature range of 25 oC - 500 oC or a temperature range of 25 oC - 750 oC. Perkin Elmer TGA 4000.
Sample specification:
- Solid sample should be in prepared condition.
- Particles: 80 - 100 mesh.
- Paper/sheet: dimesion in 5 x 5 x 1 mm.
- Resulting data is in thermogram with quantitative data.
- The test must include the method used for the sample to be tested.
