The GeoScience Paleoenvironment, and Spatial Archaeology (GAPS) Research Group focuses on the use of earth science approaches in practice, such as geography, geology, geophysics, and other earth sciences. The fields of study include spatial archaeology, landscape, artifact raw materials, taphonomy, archeostratigraphy, and dating. The goal of geoarchaeology is to understand how the physical environment has influenced the formation of the history of human civilization. This MBKM will focus on spatial archaeology research, landscape, artifact raw materials, taphonomy, archeostratigraphy, and dating in the Bumiayu Field Station Area.
