Description of Activity/Research Group Function : Our research group focuses on molecular and genomic analysis of bacteria (Streptococcus pneumoniae, Group B Streptococcus, and Klebsiella pneumoniae), viruses (Hepatitis and RSV), and bacteriophages. We also conduct studies related to zoonotic diseases such as zoonotic malaria and leptospirosis.

Research Topic : Molecular and Genome Analysis of bacteria (Streptococcus pneumoniae, Group B Streptococcus, and Klebsiella pneumoniae), viruses (Hepatitis and RSV), bacteriophages, zoonotic diseases (Leptospirosis and Malaria), and Mycobacterium.

Scope of Work:

  1. Preparation of media for bacterial, bacteriophage, and virus cultures.
  2. Bacterial and virus culture and identification.
  3. Whole genome sequencing (WGS).
  4. Bioinformatics analysis.

Relevant Study Program/Department : Undergraduate (S1) and Applied Bachelor (D4) students.
