Description of Research Activities: Water Transportation Facilities is a research group related to modes of transportation (ships) and infrastructure used in water transportation in port waters and waterways, both formed (canals, reservoirs and embungs) and natural (oceans/ oceans, straits, rivers, lakes and swamps). The function of this research activity is aimed at integrated and sustainable water transportation, formulating solutions and suggestions for the water transportation system in Indonesia.
Research Activity Topics:
• Development of the Electric and Solar Powered Water Transportation Industry
• Integration of the Use of Renewable Energy for the Development of Electric Ships and Fishermen's Settlements to Support Zero Emissions
• Determining the location of crossing ports based on satellite imagery in West Java
• Literacy in research and innovation in LNG transportation facilities (ISOTank LNG)
• Development of the Ship Recycling Industry

• Analysis of the ship's electrical propulsion system
• Analysis of carbon pricing on ships
• Analysis of forecasting demand for new ships
• Analysis of LNG tank component and structure requirements
• Analyze satellite images using remote sensing
