Research Activity Description: Research on modeling, simulation and experimentation of components in a wireless power transfer system for charging electric vehicles. Participants are expected to have basic knowledge related to electronics such as simulation, circuit design & manufacturing, measuring instrument operation, and microcontroller programming.
Research activities are ongoing with LPDP funding through the RIIM Competition 2024-2026 scheme (3 years)
Research Activity Topic: Wireless Power Transfer for Future Electric Vehicles
Scope of Research Activities
- Design of electronic inverter modules (DC to AC), rectifier (AC to DC), and DC-DC converters,
- Simulation of inverter, rectifier and DC-DC converter models
- Fabrication of inverter, rectifier and DC-DC converter modules
- Testing of wireless charging modules and systems
