Research Topic: Design of local composite concrete resistant to security threats for nuclear reactor containment structures.

Description: This research focuses on the development and design of composite concrete materials—utilizing various local resources—that offer high resistance to external physical threats (such as impact loads, explosions, projectiles, and sabotage). These materials are specifically intended for use in containment structures for power-generating nuclear reactors. The ultimate goal of this study is to produce concrete mix specifications, ballistic and blast performance data, and technical design guidelines for containment structures that comply with nuclear safety and security standards.

Requirements: Nuclear Engineering, Engineering Physics, and Civil Engineering (5 persons).
