Description
The Edgetech 4205 Side Scan Sonar is an underwater imaging sonar device suitable for both shallow and deep waters. The 4205 sonar system utilizes Edgetech's CHIRP technology to produce clear data and high-resolution images. The 4205 sonar system also has three selectable frequencies, with only two frequencies capable of operating simultaneously in high-definition or high-speed modes.
With its ability to produce high-resolution imagery, the 4205 system has a wide range of potential applications. Examples of applications that can utilize this system include cable and pipeline surveys, geological/geophysical surveys, Mine Countermeasures (MCM), Geohazard Surveys, archaeological surveys, waterway clearance surveys, and Search and Discovery.
